DeKalb County Small Business Microgrant

Thanks to contributions from area businesses and individuals, a small fund has been established to provide $500 microgrants to DeKalb County Small Businesses in need.

 

Eligibility

·    Experienced Financial Hardship

·    Less than 10 employees

·    Located in DeKalb County, IN

·    Preference given to businesses not eligible for other funding made available through the SBA

·    Preference given to businesses who were forced to close or significantly alter hours during quarantine.

 

Applications will be considered on a first come first serve basis until funding is exhausted. The Chamber board’s executive committee will serve as the micro-grant awards committee. This group is comprised of an educator, a CFO, a banker, an attorney, and a corporation executive. Businesses will be notified via email whether or not they’ve received a micro-grant.
