GARRETT — Husband-and-wife team Donald and Beth Mosley are the new owners of Timmy’s Pizza and BBQ, 105 N. Randolph St., Garrett.

They acquired the business from Tim Johnson, who is directing his focus to his catering and festival business. The Mosleys, who are lifetime Kendallville residents, officially will take over Jan. 1, with their first day of business set for Jan. 2 due to the holiday.

Donald Mosley has an extensive background in business management. Beth Mosley works for her parents, who own Young Family Funeral Homes of Kendallville, Wolcottville and Hudson. She will continue to work for her family business on a full-time basis and help at the pizza shop when she is able.

The Mosleys’ sons, Mark, Michael and Matthew, also will help. Mark and Michael we be seen the most, as Matthew is a manager at a large chain pizza restaurant in Ligonier and will continue his job there.

“Everything will continue as status quo,” the Mosleys said. The menu will stay the same, as well as the employees. The business also will offer delivery.
